Don't throw that old broken appliance to the road; scrap it!
We accept:
Air conditioners, boilers, dehumidifiers, dishwashers, dryers, freezers, furnaces, garbage disposals, heat pumps, hot water heaters, microwave ovens, ranges, refrigerators, stoves, trash compactors, and washers.
Some appliance must be prepped before scrapping.
- The compressor or refrigerant must be completely removed from a refrigerator, freezer, air conditioner or dehumidifier before recycling.
- Dishwashers, washers and water heaters must have no water in them
- All food must be removed from a freezer or refrigerator before scrapping.

- The average refrigerator has 100lbs of steel.
- Refrigerators and freezers manufactured before 2005 are insulated with foam that contains ODS which if emitted can contribute to both ozone depletion and climate change.
- Household refrigerators and freezers manufactured before 1995 can contain chlorofluorocarbon refrigerant that, if released into the environment, destroy the protective ozone layer above the earth.
